Operating Instructions  
The Solar Portable Battery Charger can be charged in two  
ways, by exposing the solar panel to sunlight or by  
connecting it to a desktop or notebook using the USB  
charging cable included.  
Charging the Battery Using the Solar Panel  
Expose the face of the solar panel to sunlight. LED C will  
go on indicating that the charge has begun. The time  
required to fully charge the battery is dependent on the  
quality of light available. The stronger the light is, the  
faster the battery will be charged.

It takes a shorter time to charge the battery under the  
direct sunlight (it should take approximately 11 hours to  
fullychargethebatteryunderstrongsunlight). LEDCwill  
switch off when the battery is fully charged.  
Charging the Battery Using a Computer

Find the proper adapter tip (included or buy  
separately) and connect to the DC Jack of the  
supplied USB charging cable, see Figure 4 on page  
4. Then connect it to the INPUT (Mini USB port) of  
the Solar Portable Battery Charger.  
Connect the USB type A plug of the supplied USB  
charging cable to an available USB port of your  
desktop or notebook computer (make sure the  
systemisturnedon). LEDAwillturnon,indicating  
thechargingprocesshasbegun,seeFigure5below.  
When LED A goes off, the Solar Portable Battery  
Charger is now fully charged. Expect 3-4 hours to  
fully charge the battery.

RechargingYourPortableDevices  
When your portable device is out of battery, you can  
recharge with the Solar Portable Battery Charger easily. Just  
makesuretheSolarPortableBatteryChargerisfullycharged  
before proceeding.

Connect the USB type A plug of the supplied USB  
charging cable to the OUTPUT (USB port) of the  
Solar Portable Battery Charger.

Find the proper adapter tip (included or buy  
separately) and connect to the DC Jack of the  
supplied USB charging cable. Then plug it to your  
device. See Figure 6 below.

During charging, all LEDs will turn red to show  
working status and remaining power.  
The time taken to fully charge the portable device  
is determined by the Lithium-ion battery capacity  
of the portable device.

Recharging Your iPod and iPhone  
When your iPod and iPhone is out of battery, you can  
recharge it with the Solar Portable Battery Charger easily.  
Just make sure the Solar Portable Battery Charger is fully  
charged before proceeding.

ConnecttheAppleUSB2.0chargingcable(supplied  
with iPod/iPhone) to your iPod or iPhone

Connect the USB type A plug of the Apple USB 2.0  
charging cable to the OUTPUT (USB port) of the  
Solar Portable Battery Charger. See Figure 7 below.

During charging, all LEDs will turn red to show  
working status and remaining power.  
The time taken to fully charge the iPod/iPhone is  
determined by the Lithium-ion battery capacity of  
the iPod/iPhone.

LED Indicator When Charging Portable Device  
The front panel of your charger includes 3 LED lights to  
show the working status and the remaining power. You  
can read the working status from numbers of the light  
indicators.  
One LED: 10%-35% charge  
Two LEDs: 35%-70% charge  
Three LEDs: 70%-100% charge
